Threadlifts

A thread lift is a minimally-invasive procedure used to lift and tighten sagging facial skin. This is less invasive than a face lift and has a faster recovery; however, it cannot alter the appearance as dramatically. This procedure may be used on the brow, face, jaw line or neck.

The surgeon will use a guide needle and insert it under the skin to pass the barbed threads through the subcutaneous layer. The barbs on the thread will hold the repositioned tissue in place, giving a tighter appearance to the loose skin. The effects of this minimally invasive procedure are not permanent but may last between 2-5 years depending on the elasticity of the skin. There is little downtime to this procedure and should leave minimal scarring.
