Wrinkles (Rhytides)

Wrinkles are creases or folds in the skin which typically appear as we age. They are also caused as a result of sun damage, smoking, poor hydration and habitual facial expressions. Sadly, wrinkles are inevitable but some are preventable and there are many treatments to minimise their appearance.

Avoiding sun exposure and applying high protection sunscreen from an early age will help to reduce wrinkling in later life.

Anti-Ageing topical cosmeceuticals will help reduce wrinkles and lessen further formation.

Botox is highly effective for Dynamic lines (wrinkles caused by muscular activity)

Injectable fillers eg. Juvederm can be used to add volume and lessen the appearance of static lines.

Chemical Peels are very effective in reducing and softening fine lines.

Laser treatments and surgery can also be considered.
